ALIA finalists

Asia Pacific Learning Impact Awards (ALIA) 2022

We are ALIA finalists! LB Learning Solutions together with Employ for Ability (EFA) have been nominated for two Asia Pacific Learning Impact Awards.

Working with Employ for Ability (EFA) throughout 2022 was an absolute joy.

We developed ground-breaking learning programs.

Our focus was preparing young neurodivergent job-seekers for the workforce.

Employ for Ability projects

We built on our original Time Management series of workshops from 2021, and delved into Finance. This was a big enough task when we unpacked how much ground to cover. In the end we designed a program incorporating everything from financial awareness through to workplace finances and on to independent living.

Then we tackled the 10 week introductory Communication program and completely remodelled it.

Our work attracted a lot of attention, but our favourite comment was from Associate professor and autism specialist, Amanda Webster from the University of Wollongong.

“Be proud. What you are doing here is world class.”

Diversity & Inclusion and Learning Solution of the Year

Now we are being recognised by the Asia Pacific Institute for Learning and Performance as finalists for the ALIA 2022 “Diversity and Inclusion Learning Initiative” and “Learning Solution of the Year (External)” awards. Winners will be announced on Thursday 9th March.
